ROMYEN SKY LANTERN FESTIVAL
HIGHLIGHTS

Point
1
A First for Thailand
LED Sky LanternsThe beauty of the traditional Khom Loi, preserved exactly as it is and staged in Thailand for the first time with eco-conscious, cutting-edge Japanese light technology. Powered entirely by electricity, it creates a safe and magical space for you to enjoy.

Point
2
Architecture of Magnificent Beauty
Amata CastleThe setting is Amata Castle, just outside Bangkok. A natural sandstone facade, spires soaring into the sky and a private estate with expansive gardens set the scene for a night you will never forget.

Point
3
A Spectacular Display of Light
The eco-conscious LED Loy Krathong floats color the water safely without polluting it. A sound-and-light show on the castle walls, and hundreds of drones drawing traditions and messages across the night sky in place of fireworks, create a magical space that is gentle on the environment.

Point
4
Social Contribution and
Environmental Conservation (ESG)Guided by our eco-conscious philosophy, a portion of proceeds is donated to efforts to eradicate slash-and-burn farming and deforestation. We also donate to trail maintenance in Khao Yai National Park and, in partnership with the 140th anniversary of Japan-Thailand relations, work to raise wider awareness of the importance of protecting nature.

About Amata Castle
Sky Lanterns × a Castle
Release your sky lantern against the backdrop of a beautiful castle that looks as if it has stepped straight out of a film. A special experience you will find nowhere else.
A Private Estate
Built at a cost of around 5 billion yen, this private estate lets event guests immerse themselves in an experience reserved just for them.
A Breathtaking Main Hall
Step inside and the Main Hall opens up beneath a soaring ceiling. Its grand atmosphere feels like another world, right here in Thailand.
Access
Easy to reach: about 60 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport or central Sriracha, and about 90 minutes from central Bangkok. Pattaya, with its seafood, is just a short trip further.
NOTES
Important Information
- Late entry is possible, but please arrive by around 18:00 so you do not miss the lantern handout and instructions.
- Please do not bring your own alcohol. Alcohol is sold at the venue, but cannot be purchased by anyone under the age of 20.
- Light-bite coupons are scheduled to be handed out on entry.
- The event may go ahead in light rain, but safety comes first: we decide whether to proceed based on cancellation criteria such as rainfall and wind speed.
- The sky lanterns at this event use no fire, so they do not burn. They are LED-powered and flown like a kite on a string that is never cut, so they do not fly away, and they are collected at the end of the event.

- Parking is available for event guests, so you are welcome to come by car.
- Please show your booking confirmation on the day, either saved on your device or printed out.
- Children under 10 are admitted free, but do not receive a lantern or krathong and share light bites with an adult. Please purchase a ticket for your child if needed.
- There is no seating in the sky lantern release zone. We recommend bringing a picnic mat or similar.
- We are unable to accommodate food allergies in the food provided. If your child needs special consideration due to allergies or other reasons, please bring your own snacks.
- Photos and video may be taken on the day for record and promotional purposes, and may be used on our official social media, website and elsewhere. Images in which individuals can be identified by their face will not be used (*faces will be kept out of frame or edited out).
